How did you end up in this role?

My journey into a legal career was somewhat unconventional. Initially, I pursued a degree in History and Economic & Social History at university. After spending a few years in the workforce, I decided to return to academia and undertook the LLB Law (Graduate Entry) programme, followed by the Diploma in Legal Practice. I then spent seven years at my previous firm, where I completed my traineeship and subsequently worked as a solicitor, primarily handling residential conveyancing. The opportunity to join Wallace Quinn arose at an opportune moment, just as I was seeking a new challenge after a significant tenure at my former firm.

What aspects of your job do you find most fulfilling?

I enjoy guiding clients through the conveyancing process and tailoring the service we provide to their specific needs. It’s always satisfying advising clients they can collect keys to their new property knowing they’ve received the best possible service throughout the process.

Could you describe your day at Wallace Quinn?

I oversee the Residential Conveyancing Team in our Glasgow office and deal with the allocation of new conveyancing cases as well as managing my own caseload. I deal with residential sale and purchase transactions, auction sales and purchases and transfer of titles.

What are your hobbies and interests outside of work?

I enjoy travelling and reading.
