How did you end up in this role?
When I initially began my studies back in 2017, I decided to pursue a degree in Marketing. However, after a year, I realised this wasn’t the right path for me and took some time away from education to contemplate my future career.
During the lockdown in 2020, I reflected on my interests and remembered the legal work I enjoyed during my time in college in 2017. I then made the decision to return to education in 2020 and, after two years, successfully completed my HND in Legal Services. This qualification led me to Wallace Quinn, a reputable firm that had been highly recommended to me. Today, I am a Paralegal specialising in Lender work and Remortgages.
What aspects of your job do you find most fulfilling?
One of the most fulfilling aspects of my job is being able to assist clients throughout the entire process. Often, when clients come to us, they are not only seeking help but also a comprehensive understanding of the overall legal process as we work together towards completing their transaction.
Additionally, I derive great satisfaction when clients return for assistance with new transactions. It fills me with pride to know that they received the best possible service, which has encouraged them to trust me, and Wallace Quinn, with their ongoing legal needs.
Could you describe your day at Wallace Quinn?
In my role, I work closely with independent lenders to fully understand their requirements from our clients, ensuring a smooth process and quick turnaround. I frequently assist Limited Companies and clients who are in the process of transferring the title of their property. This process varies significantly with each client, making each case unique and challenging.
What are your hobbies and interests outside of work?
Outside of work, I thoroughly enjoy dining out and having drinks with friends and family. I also enjoy attending the occasional concert, which adds a delightful balance to my life.
What do you appreciate most about working at Wallace Quinn?
What I appreciate most about working at Wallace Quinn is the people. I am incredibly fortunate to receive unwavering support and invaluable knowledge from my team members, which helps me work towards the next stage in my career.
