Trainee Solicitor, Livingston

We’re looking for a TRAINEE SOLICITOR to work with the team in our Livingston office. You’ll be a confident communicator who can work well with colleagues and meet demanding client expectations. You’ll be a hard worker who isn’t precious about helping out whatever is required. We have a history of developing and retaining talent (one of our Directors started as a Trainee).

Residential Conveyancing Solicitor, Glasgow

We’re looking for a RESIDENTIAL CONVEYANCING SOLICITOR to work with our conveyancing team in our Glasgow office. You’ll be a confident communicator who can work well with colleagues and meet demanding client expectations. You’ll be a hard worker who isn’t precious about helping out whatever is required. We have a history of developing and retaining talent (one of our Directors started with us as a Trainee).

The Role

Working in our dynamic property team, you will manage residential property transactions, including purchases, sales, and security work. You’ll work closely with clients, providing expert advice and ensuring smooth completion of transactions.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Handle all aspects of residential property transactions, including purchases, sales, new builds, re-mortgages, and title transfers.
  • Draft and review contracts, leases, and legal documents.
  • Provide tailored legal advice to clients.
  • Conduct property searches and due diligence.
  • Liaise with clients, lenders, and other professionals.
  • Ensure compliance with legal and regulatory requirements

Paralegal, Livingston

Salary: Within the band £26,775 – £33,600

We are seeking a qualified and experienced Paralegal to join our busy team in our Livingston office.

As a Paralegal, you will possess a broad range of experience across multiple departments, including conveyancing and private client work. With at least two years of experience in the legal field, you will demonstrate an ability to handle a high volume of work while providing excellent and consistent client service. We are keen to hear from anyone who has a can-do attitude and wishes to provide consistently high levels of customer service.

Admin Assistant, Livingston

We are looking for an ADMINISTRATIVE ASSISTANT to work full-time in our Glasgow office. The ideal candidate will have experience in residential and commercial conveyancing. Experience with leasing would be an advantage.

Duties

The successful candidate will possess excellent organisational, communication, and time management skills, and will be comfortable working as part of a team. We are looking for an individual with:

  • Good IT skills, especially in Microsoft Office
  • The ability to learn law-practice management software
  • A confident, organised approach and with good communication skills
  • At least two years’ experience in an administrative role
  • A can-do attitude and a willingness to work as a strong and committed team member

Job Summary Administration Assistant

Responsible for a variety of administration tasks, including documentation preparation, record maintenance and general office support.

Key Responsibilities

1. Business Administration Support:

  • Prepare and assist with efficient and timely correspondence to clients, external parties and colleagues via email, letters and telephone. Ensure that records of correspondence are maintained appropriately.
  • Assist with the preparation of legal documentation and the provision of support as required, ensuring that office procedures and protocols are maintained and being mindful of attention to detail.
  • Ensure that all files are maintained in accordance with firm policies and data protection regulations.
  • Provide support to open new files in a timely and accurate manner.
  • Draft, proofread, and finalise legal documents, accurately and in a timely manner.
  • Provide reception support as necessary, communicating effectively and acting as an ambassador for Wallace Quinn.
  • Support colleagues in any administration task that may be required to assist excellent customer service and a strong business operation.
  • Apply high levels of skill with Office 365 packages.

2. Compliance and Risk Management:

  • Ensure compliance with all relevant legal regulations and firm policies within the team.
  • Ensure the application of best practices for legal and operational procedures as appropriate.
